Capacidades dinámicas y desempeño sostenible en la industria automotriz mexicana
Resumen
La industria automotriz mexicana juega un papel fundamental en la protección y preservación de la calidad del medio ambiente. En este contexto, el objetivo fue determinar el efecto que la capacidad de orientación al aprendizaje y la capacidad de orientación al mercado tienen en el desempeño sostenible, además de analizar el papel mediador de la capacidad de innovación entre estas variables. Los datos de la encuesta de la percepción de 208 empleados de empresas de la industria automotriz en Toluca, Estado de México, se analizaron mediante el modelado de ecuaciones estructurales de mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS-SEM). Los resultados del estudio confirmaron efectos directos e indirectos. La orientación al mercado y la orientación al aprendizaje influyen para que las empresas desarrollen productos innovadores amigables con el medio ambiente, que finalmente contribuyen a la sostenibilidad ambiental, social y económica. Los resultados aportan argumentos a los directivos para continuar con el diseño de estrategias que mejoren sus prácticas de desempeño sostenible.
