Impact of the Strengthening Plan on the Accreditation of the Universities of the State of Chile
Abstract
The objective of this document is to analyze the impact of the Strengthening Plan on the institutional accreditation of the Chilean universities that are part of the Consortium of State Universities of Chile. A methodology is used that includes a bibliographic review of relevant terms, documentary research techniques, and the analysis of reports from ministries and consortia. Statistical criteria are defined to quantify the influence of certain variables on institutional accreditation. From the analysis it is concluded that there is no evidence of a significant linear relationship between the variables of the strengthening plan and the years and areas of accreditation
