Revisión sistemática de literatura sobre innovación en turismo, una agenda para futuras investigaciones

Resumen

La innovación en turismo es un constructo multidimensional que ha venido ganando espacio en la investigación científica sobre turismo; con el presente trabajo, se evidencia el crecimiento aun limitado, en cuanto al número y variedad de artículos publicados en revistas de alto impacto sobre el tópico de interés, igualmente, se trazó como objetivo diseñar una agenda para futuras investigaciones sobre la Innovación en turismo; concretamente, se revisaron 184 documentos tipo artículo publicados en la base de datos SCOPUS entre el 2008 y el año 2023; mediante un análisis bibliométrico, se analizaron los datos de cocitación; agrupándolos en 6 clústeres que resaltan aspectos como el desarrollo de destinos turísticos inteligentes; así mismo, el rol relevante de la gestión pública en la promoción de la innovación turística, la articulación en redes de los diferentes grupos de interés y el diseño de nuevos productos y servicios turísticos con base en la interacción entre empresas y turistas a partir de las innovaciones tecnológicas en marketing. Los requerimientos de infraestructura y las barreras para la adopción de tecnologías en destinos turísticos poco desarrollados, los modelos de gobernanza en cohesión con las políticas públicas para la innovación turística, entre otros hallazgos, se plantean para futuras investigaciones.
