INVESTIGATIVE RETROSPECTIVE AND TEACHING ABOUT NATURAL LIGHTING IN ACHITECTURE

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to propose new research lines ”“ about the application of solar energy in Architecture ”“ along with projects and works done at the Architecture and Design Faculty of Universidad del Zulia. Indeed, these studies have been developed at the School of Architecture of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The state-of-the-art in solar energy makes natural lighting be the research field most similar and the one with more possibilities for the new generations of architects, since nowadays, physicists and engineers pay attention, training and knowledge to the evaluation and energy behavior of solar radiation.
