Resumen
La disuasión nuclear de la OTAN es clave para el mantenimiento de la paz, evaluando su efectividad y viabilidad ante cambios geopolíticos recientes. Su estrategia se fundamenta en la interacción entre seguridad, política y defensa nuclear, según autores como Brooks y Wohlforth, quienes destacan su rol estabilizador en Europa. Metodológicamente, se empleó el análisis documental, revisando fuentes clave como conceptos estratégicos de la OTAN y literatura académica para identificar patrones históricos, doctrinas y tensiones. Aunque esencial para prevenir conflictos directos, plantea desafíos éticos y de seguridad, como el terrorismo nuclear. Las conclusiones subrayan la necesidad de modernizar esta estrategia, promoviendo el desarme y la no proliferación para fortalecer la seguridad global a largo plazo.
