Abstract

Four new species of ditiscid beetles of the tribe Bidessini, belonging to the genus Anodocheilus,
are described herein. These beetles were collected from inland wetlands of Sucre and Bolivar
states, Venezuela. Diagnostic characters are illustrated and a key to separate the new species
based on genital morphology is presented.
