Displaced. Integrative research/creation proposal
Abstract
In this work of artistic integration, photography, contemporary dance and music are combined for the staging of a drama that afflicts us worldwide, highlighting on many occasions the lack of humanism, such as the issue of displacement, that for various reasons has intensified, until today it becomes a kind of social diatribe, where many of those affected lose their lives in search of human solidarity. Rábago (2009) points out that in our time society is unbalanced, with great technological advances but with a dwarf humanism. Likewise, the phrase of the painter Cuagliata: “there are spaces to live in and spaces to feel”, acquires great relevance and invites us to meditate on living with harmony and balance, giving the same importance to the material, emotional and spiritual aspects of the human being, art being an indispensable tool to achieve it.
