2025-07-122025-07-12221911Normas de textualidad y clases de isotopías presentes en el filme "La Sustancia" (2024)
https://produccioncientifica.luz.edu.ve/index.php/quorum/article/view/44110

The objective of the research was to analyze the norms of textuality and isotopes present in the cinematic discourse of the film "The Substance"(2024) in order to establish relationships between the film text with contextual and situational elements linked to latent themes that the film presents in the 21st century. The theoretical foundation was based on (Beaugrande and Dressler, 1996), (Villasmil, Arrrieta and Finol, 2009), (García de Molero , 2007), (Cid , 2007). The methodology used was qualitative. The results revealed that the film 'The Substance' (2024) exhibits a strong link between rules of textuality and the types
of isotopies presented in this film with latent themes of the 21st century related to the world of beauty, the fear of aging in the artistic field and the rejection of today’s society for not presenting established aesthetic canons.
Yeriling Villasmil

https://produccioncientifica.luz.edu.ve/index.php/quorum/article/view/44111

The aim of this research is to design a teaching strategy for morphosyntax for Communication Studies students at the University of Zulia (LUZ).
Initially, the challenges faced by students in learning this subject were diagnosed, and the theoretical framework addressing current pedagogical
needs was reviewed. A questionnaire was administered to students enrolled in Spanish Morphosyntax I during the second semester of 2024 at the
LUZ School of Communication Studies. This is a projective, quantitative study grounded in the theoretical postulates of Franco (2007), Tobón
(2006), and García (2017), considering the communicative functional approach, competency-based education, and multimodal teaching to
address the needs of future communication professionals.
Karla Medina

https://produccioncientifica.luz.edu.ve/index.php/quorum/article/view/44112

The aim of this study was to design semiolinguistic strategies to develop students’ communicative skills and subskills in Spanish as a second language class at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas in the United States. The foundational theory was based on authors like Lomas (1999), Garcia de Molero (2011, 2014), Villasmil, Fuenmayor y Garcia de Molero (2014) related to the following criteria: 1. Communicative skills and subskills notions, 2. Semiotic theory of didactic communication, 3. Semiolinguistics strategies. The research was qualitative, and its sample was composed of 45 students. This research revealed that students at Ridge Point High School developed their lexical and sociocultural skills further after the applied strategies. Therefore, it is recommended that
teachers take into account situational, social, and cultural aspects to develop communicative skills.
Isabel Bracho

https://produccioncientifica.luz.edu.ve/index.php/quorum/article/view/44113

The methodology was mixed and the population considered were the students and teachers of the medical career, which constituted a total of 2978 students and 210 teachers, from which a probabilistic sample of 93 students and a purposive sample of 15 teachers were selected. The techniques used for data collection were observation, survey and structured interview. The results indicated that students have a generally sufficient performance of communication skills; the triangulation of the information determined that it is imperative to restructure the curricula to promote an interdisciplinary perspective in the development of communication skills.
Gregory Reyes Acevedo
