Es un honor para mí presentarles esta décimo novena edición de la revista Impacto Científico, una publicación académica adscrita al Núcleo Costa Oriental del Lago de la Universidad del Zulia, consolidándonos como un referente en las áreas del conocimiento en educación, ingeniería y ciencias económicas.

A lo largo de su trayectoria, Impacto Científico se ha dedicado a la difusión de investigaciones originales y de alta calidad, contribuyendo al avance del conocimiento y la formación de profesionales en las áreas mencionadas. Nuestra revista cuenta con un riguroso proceso de revisión por pares, lo que garantiza la excelencia de las publicaciones que albergamos.

En esta ocasión, nos complace presentarles el volumen 19, número 2 de Impacto Científico, donde encontrarán una selección de artículos que abarcan una amplia gama de temáticas relevantes para nuestras áreas de interés. Entre los temas destacados, se encuentran:

“Dominio tecnológico en docentes de inglés de grado decimo de las instituciones educativas focalizadas por el bilingüismo en Ipiales Nariño”, de las investigadoras Mirtha Zamudio y Jacqueline Hurtado de Barrera, identificaron una carencia significativa de competencias digitales. Esta limitación impide que los profesores diseñen clases dinámicas y personalizadas, lo que a su vez obstaculiza el desarrollo de las habilidades lingüísticas de los estudiantes. En un contexto donde las TIC son cada vez más presentes, es fundamental capacitar a los docentes para que puedan aprovechar al máximo las herramientas digitales disponibles y así mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza del inglés.

Continuamos con “Componentes de los ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje: Un análisis en las universidades públicas venezolanas”, de María Teresa Gómez, donde por medio de la observación directa y entrevistas estructuradas, la investigadora se centra en la Escuela de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad del Zulia. Los resultados, interpretados bajo una perspectiva hermenéutica y basándose en el
modelo de Weller revelan aspectos clave del diseño e investigación de estos entornos como espacios para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.

“La didáctica basada en procesos de investigación en el aula para la enseñanza de la química en Colombia”, es el trabajo que presenta Juan Carlos Pino, a través de un análisis teórico y práctico, el autor demuestra que esta metodología, al fomentar la participación activa de los estudiantes y el desarrollo de habilidades como el pensamiento crítico y la resolución de problemas, contribuye a una comprensión más profunda de los conceptos químicos y a una mejor preparación para estudios superiores en ciencias. Los resultados de su investigación resaltan la importancia de que los docentes cuenten con las competencias necesarias para implementar este tipo de enfoque pedagógico.

A continuación, Eulimar Mosquera presenta el trabajo “Responsabilidad social empresarial como estrategia de la competitividad”, en la que se resalta que la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial no solo es una acción socialmente responsable, sino también una herramienta estratégica que permite a las empresas diferenciarse, innovar y construir relaciones más sólidas con sus stakeholders. Al adoptar prácticas de RSE, las organizaciones pueden generar valor compartido y contribuir al desarrollo sostenible.

Nairen Piñero, en su investigación, “La gestión financiera y sus procesos”, analiza la gestión financiera en empresas de servicio metalmecánico del occidente de Venezuela. A través de un enfoque descriptivo, identifica una diversidad de prácticas financieras en estas organizaciones. Sus hallazgos subrayan la importancia de la gestión financiera como un elemento clave para el éxito empresarial, al permitir una administración eficiente de los recursos y el apoyo a los procesos organizacionales.

En el estudio de José Gregorio Marcano, titulado “Faltas de ortografía en el discurso escrito de estudiantes de pregrado del Núcleo LUZ COL”, se examinaron los textos de 31 estudiantes universitarios de primer semestre en el Núcleo LUZ COL durante el periodo 2022-2023. Los resultados indican que el 45% de los participantes presentaron entre 11 y 25 faltas ortográficas, siendo las más frecuentes las relacionadas con la acentuación, el uso de mayúsculas, la puntuación y la escritura de palabras.

Seguidamente, Jorge Mosquera y Carlos Wynter Melo presentan “La comprensión lectora de los estudiantes de grado 5to de básica primaria. Estudio de caso: Colegio Gabriel García Márquez”, la cual reveló que el 70% de los estudiantes de quinto grado del Colegio Gabriel García Márquez presentaron dificultades significativas en la comprensión de textos, especialmente en la inferencia y el análisis crítico. Estos resultados, por debajo de los estándares nacionales, subrayan la urgencia de implementar programas de lectura comprensiva en la escuela. Por lo que recomiendan fomentar la lectura en voz alta, el análisis de textos diversos y la realización de actividades que promuevan la inferencia y la evaluación crítica.

En su trabajo “Coordinación de posgrado e investigación del Núcleo LUZ COL: 30 años impulsando la formación especializada”, María Mármol y Adonis Marcano, ofrecen una mirada detallada a la evolución de la formación de posgrado en el Núcleo Costa Oriental del Lago de la Universidad del Zulia. Basándose en documentos institucionales y referentes teóricos, los autores describen cómo estos programas han respondido a las demandas del entorno y han contribuido al desarrollo de la región.

Ninfa María Castillo realizó la siguiente investigación “Efecto de las estilolitas en la resistencia mecánica de las calizas, en la compactación y permeabilidad de yacimientos carbonatados naturalmente fracturados”, presenta un análisis exhaustivo del impacto de las estilolitas en las propiedades petrofísicas de yacimientos carbonatados. A través de una clasificación detallada basada en su geometría y relación con los cementos, la autora demuestra cómo las estilolitas actúan como barreras que reducen significativamente la permeabilidad efectiva de estos sistemas. Además, propone nuevos métodos para cuantificar la resistencia de las estilolitas, lo cual resulta crucial para la evaluación de la calidad del yacimiento y la optimización de los procesos de producción.

El turno es para Lisandro José Lizardo con “Estrategias creativas para el desarrollo de habilidades matematicas en estudiantes universitarios”, donde identifica una oportunidad de mejora en la enseñanza de las matemáticas en el Programa de Administración de la UNE ‘Rafael María Baralt’. A través de encuestas a docentes y estudiantes, el autor revela que, si bien los docentes reconocen la importancia de
las estrategias creativas, los estudiantes sienten que estas no se implementan con la frecuencia necesaria. Los resultados sugieren la necesidad de diseñar programas de formación continua para docentes, enfocados en el desarrollo de habilidades para la creación y aplicación de estrategias pedagógicas innovadoras que motiven y faciliten el aprendizaje de las matemáticas.

“Capacidad de los servicios en las operaciones de las gerencias de servicios logísticos de Petróleos de Venezuela”, es la investigación que presentan Calixto Hernández y Wuilliams Nava, en la que evalúan la eficiencia de la gestión logística en las gerencias de servicios de PDVSA ubicadas en la Costa Oriental del Lago. A través de un diseño no experimental y la aplicación de encuestas, los autores concluyen que estas gerencias demuestran una alta capacidad para cumplir con los requisitos de tiempo, ubicación y volatilidad de la demanda, lo cual se traduce en una mayor satisfacción del cliente y una reducción de costos. Estos resultados destacan la importancia de una gestión logística eficiente para el éxito de las operaciones de PDVSA en la región.

Andry Umaña y Leidy Herrera, abordan el tema educacional con “El clima social escolar de la Institución Educativa Técnico Industrial Julio Flórez, de Chiquinquirá, Boyacá, Colombia”, cuyos resultados de la encuesta aplicada a 76 docentes indican una baja percepción de colaboración y apoyo entre el personal docente, lo que genera un clima de desconfianza y desmotivación. Esta situación podría tener un impacto
negativo en la calidad de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, afectando el desempeño académico de los estudiantes y el bienestar de toda la comunidad educativa. Los autores subrayan la importancia de implementar estrategias para mejorar el clima social escolar y fomentar un ambiente de trabajo más colaborativo y positivo.

A continuación, María José Beleño, aborda el siguiente tema “Influencia de la motivación sobre el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de instituciones educativas rurales oficiales de Montería Córdoba. Colombia”, utilizando un enfoque holístico, la autora identifica la motivación como un factor clave, pero destaca la importancia de considerar otros elementos contextuales que pueden impactar en el
desempeño escolar.

Siguiendo con el tema educativo, las investigadoras María Alejandra Parales y Caterina Clemenza de Araujo, analizan la “Formación en la acción pedagógica de docentes indígenas frente a la identidad cultural en las instituciones escolares del Guainía, Colombia”, sus hallazgos revelan una brecha entre la teoría y la práctica, evidenciada en la limitada implementación del Proyecto Educativo Comunitario y en la falta de estrategias didácticas que promuevan la identidad cultural. Las autoras concluyen que es necesario fortalecer la formación docente en este sentido.

Por último, el trabajo de Jorge Luis Valencia, Carlos Alberto Romero y Fritzner Joseph, titulado “Diseño de una nave industrial sin cerramiento lateral con puente grúa de capacidad 25 toneladas utilizando el software STAAD. Pro CONNET”, los autores realizan un análisis estructural completo, considerando las cargas muertas, vivas, de viento y sísmicas. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que el diseño
propuesto cumple con los requisitos de la normativa ecuatoriana, garantizando la seguridad y durabilidad de la estructura. Este estudio constituye un valioso aporte al campo de la ingeniería estructural, proporcionando una guía práctica para el diseño de naves industriales similares.

Para finalizar, queremos expresar nuestro más profundo agradecimiento a todas las personas que han contribuido al éxito de la revista Impacto Científico a lo largo de estos años. A los investigadores que han confiado en nosotros para publicar sus valiosas aportaciones, a los árbitros por su dedicación y rigurosidad en la evaluación de los artículos, y a los miembros del comité editorial por su invaluable guía y apoyo.

Nos sentimos profundamente orgullosos de haber alcanzado este décimo noveno aniversario y miramos hacia el futuro con gran entusiasmo.

En el año 2025, celebraremos nuestro vigésimo aniversario, y estamos seguros de que este nuevo hito será posible gracias al talento y la dedicación de nuestra comunidad. Technological mastery in tenth grade English teachers from educational institutions focused on bilingualism in Ipiales Nariño

The goal of this research was to describe the technological skills of English teachers in public, the urban educational institutions focused by the National Bilingualism Program, located in Ipiales, Colombia. With a contemporary and cross-sectional field design worked from a holistic understanding of science, the research was conducted within the descriptive model. All the English teachers of the aforementioned institutions made up the population and no sampling was carried out. In order to describe the
technological domain, a focused open interview was used with a validity of 0.98 and a reliability of 0.83; for the analysis of descriptive results, frequencies, percentages and medians were used. The findings showed that teachers do not achieve the knowledge in digital skills necessary to identify, understand and use ICT in their daily practices, which greatly complicates the structuring of dynamic, didactic, pedagogical and
recreational learning environments and settings that enable to take advantage of all the possibilities technological tools offer to teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning English.

Components of virtual learning environments: an analysis in venezuelan public universities

From an approach within the interpretive paradigm, this article presents an analysis of the components of virtual learning environments in Venezuelan public universities. Taking into account the basic principles of the theoretical model, some central themes related to five components according to Weller (2017) are reviewed, using direct observation as a technique for obtaining information as a process that nourishes
phenomenological investigations, through a guide structured interview, which served to inspect the data obtained through photographic recording. All of this supported by the hermeneutic interpretation process for the reconstruction of meanings, allowing us to highlight aspects related to the design and research of virtual environments conceived as spaces for the development of teaching and learning processes specifically in the School of Industrial Engineering of the University of Zulia.

Didactics based on research processes in the classroom for teaching chemistry in Colombia

The objective of this work is to present a theoretical reflection on didactics based on research processes in the classroom for teaching chemistry in Colombia, for which an inventory of sources from authors who study the problems in teaching chemistry was developed. science with an emphasis on chemistry, and then reflect on how didactics based on research processes in the classroom can help overcome these difficulties and achieve effective learning. Consequently, it is concluded that the use of research by the teacher in the teaching of chemistry requires a teacher with research skills and aware of considering in their planning, facilitation and evaluation actions aimed at achieving the active participation of students. In addition, it improves the student’s critical thinking, observation, as well as understanding of the application of this area in its context, which prepares them for opportunities for higher education in science.

Corporate social responsibility as a competitiveness strategy

Corporate social responsibility is gaining momentum in the business environment, preparing the individual for a market that does not intend to eliminate competitors, but rather to present innovative strategies for the common good, since its practice contributes to preserving and increasing the assets of companies for the benefit of all internal and external stakeholders. This is how organizations advance rapidly in the implementation of a new business concept that includes economic and social changes,
in response to the need to become a social agent. In this sense, entrepreneurs consider corporate social responsibility as a strategy that provides social benefits and in turn makes companies more competitive. From the above, a documentary investigation originates, which visualizes this problem from a theoretical discussion, where different authors were consulted, making a bibliographic survey of the books and scientific articles available and that deal directly with the subject, making a selection according
to with those most relevant to the study. In conclusion, it should be noted that the theoretical analysis determines corporate social responsibility as a competitiveness strategy in companies that allows enhancing the image of the organization, being taken into account as a differentiating element that promotes new ways of doing business, involving everyone. the actors of society.

Financial management and its processes

The purpose of this article was to analyze financial management and its processes, under a descriptive methodology, with a non-experimental, transectional and field design, which allowed interpreting the diversity of scenarios that occur in metalmechanical service companies in western Venezuela. ., analyzing the behavior of finance and investment managers to whom a questionnaire was applied. It was concluded that financial management has key processes that support organizational processes, based on resource management.

Spelling mistakes in the written discourse of undergraduate students at the LUZ undergraduate students of Núcleo LUZ COL

This article presents the spelling errors detected in the written discourse of university students at the Núcleo Costa Oriental del Lago of the Universidad del Zulia. For this descriptive, field, non-experimental cross-sectional study, authors such as Gómez Camacho (2005), Franco (2007), Belocón and Dotti (2007), Real Academia de la Lengua Española (2010), Carratalá Teruel (2013), Zárate (2015), Pérez (2021);
Montesdeoca, Palacios, Gómez and Espejo (2021); and Cabanillas (2022), among others, were considered in terms of spelling and orthographic learning, while for the classification of spelling errors the taxonomies proposed by Bedwell et al (2014), Sotomayor et al (2013), Lecuona Naranjo (2009) and Franco (2007), were taken as references, in order to present our own classification. Based on the diagnostic tests of 31 students from the first semester of different careers, taking the Unique academic period of 2022 (October 2022-March 2023), the main spelling mistakes were identified and catalogued. 45 percent of the participants evidenced between 11 and 25 spelling mistakes in their texts. The largest number is found in accentuation, followed by the use of capital letters; the punctuation; and the writing of words or graphematics.

Reading comprehension of 5th grade primary school students. Case study: Gabriel García Márquez School

The purpose of this work is to describe the reading comprehension of 5th grade primary school students. Case study: Gabriel García Márquez School Educational Institution, through descriptive research with a field, transectal design. The population was made up of 15 5th grade primary school students. Data collection was carried out using Booklet 1 of 2022 from the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (ICFES, 2022), in particular the 5th grade Guidance Guide on Communicative Competencies in Language: Reading, which breaks down the competence into three basic processes such as literal, inferential and critical. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, specifically percentage frequencies by items. The results indicate that all students are seriously deficient with regard to the three levels of reading competence.

Postgraduate and Research Coordination of the LUZ COL Nucleus:30 years promoting specialized training

Effect of stylolites on the mechanical strength of limestones in the compaction and permeability of naturally fractured carbonate reservoirs

Naturally fractured reservoirs in limestone formations are influenced by stylolites and joints, which can affect reservoir quality by modifying the porous network and fracture systems. Stylolites, often combined with reprecipitated cements, may act as barriers that limit fluid flow, thus reducing effective permeability. This research evaluates the impact of stylolites on the mechanical strength, compaction, and
permeability of naturally fractured carbonate reservoirs. An advanced classification of stylolite morphologies and their relationship with compaction and permeability variations is presented. Additionally, methods to assess stylolite strength and its impact on reservoir quality are analyzed. This study provides valuable insights into the role of stylolites in production efficiency for fractured limestone reservoirs.

Creative strategies for the development of mathematical skills in university students

The purpose of the research was aimed at proposing creative strategies for the development of mathematical skills in students of the UNE Administration Program “Rafael María Baralt”. Methodologically, the research was based on a quantitative approach, with a feasible project typology. Concluding according to the teachers' responses that within their planning, creative strategies are designed based on the needs of the students. However, the students stated that sometimes the teacher presents creative strategies that allow them to achieve greater knowledge of mathematics I.

Capacity of the services in the operations of the logistics services managements of petroleum de Venezuela

The objective of the research was to identify the capacity of the services in the logistics services management of Petróleos de Venezuela on the eastern coast of Lake Maracaibo. The study was descriptive, with a non-experimental, transectional and field design. The population was made up of the management of Venezuelan oil logistics services on the eastern coast of the Lake. For data collection, the survey technique was applied, with a questionnaire containing 16 items. Validation was carried out through the judgment of 5 experts, and reliability was calculated through Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, obtaining 0.94, placing it at very high reliability. The results showed high compliance with strategic planning in the managements studied, given by very high compliance with the indicators time, location and volubility of demand, representing a strength for management.

The school social climate of the Industrial Technical Educational Institution Julio Flórez, of Chiquinquirá, Boyacá, Colombia

The present study is developed in order to describe the school social climate of the eight headquarters of the Industrial Technician Julio Flórez, in Chiquinquirá, Boyacá, Colombia, during the 2022 and 2023 school years. The type of research was descriptive. The design is field, transectal, contemporary and univariable. For data collection, the school social climate scale by Aron et al., (2012) was used with a Cronbach’s Alpha
reliability between 0.63 and 0.89. The population was made up of 76 teachers from the eight locations of the Educational Institution. Data analysis was developed using descriptive statistics, specifically the measure of central tendency, the median, since the data were measured at an ordinal level, and frequency. Influence of motivation on the academic performance of students from official rural educational institutions in Monteria Córdoba. Colombia

The objective of this work is to explain the impact of motivation on the academic performance of students from official rural educational institutions in Monteria. Cordova. Colombia. The research is developed under the holistic understanding of science with a level of explanatory knowledge and a mixed source, contemporary transectal single-event design. The population was made up of 330 10th and 11th grade students from the official rural educational institutions of Monteria Córdoba. Colombia. To collect the motivation data, the survey technique was used with a questionnaire instrument built by Pérez (2023), with a validity of 0.80 and a reliability of and a reliability by Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.92 and For academic performance, the documentary review technique with a registration matrix was used. Quantitative
techniques with descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The findings indicated that motivation is a relevant factor to improve academic performance, but there are other factors that can influence it.

Training in pedagogical action of indigenous teachers with respect to cultural identity in school in the school institutions of Guainía, Colombia

The purpose of the article is to examine the training in the pedagogical action of indigenous teachers in the face of cultural identity according to the uses and customs of the students in the school institutions of the Department of Guainía, Colombia. Among the authors consulted are: De la Cruz et al. (2020), Bastiani and López (2019), Acevedo (2013), Bolaños (2007). The paradigm is interpretive, qualitative approach,
phenomenological method and descriptive scope. To collect information, in-depth interviews and observation were used, applying a script of questions and an observation guide to eight teachers from five educational institutions. The analysis of the findings was done through triangulation, around the category training for pedagogical action. The results show weaknesses in terms of monitoring the Community Educational Project, the use of didactic strategies and resources to generate significant learning, and training to serve indigenous students to strengthen their cultural identity. In conclusion, teachers recognize that the educational process must be continuous and reflected in classroom practice, respecting the worldview, customs, experiences and experiences of the students in order to preserve their ancestral traditions.

Development of an industrial structure with open sides, incorporating a 25-ton overhead crane, analyzed and designed using STAAD software and Pro CONNECT tools

An industrial warehouse constitutes a structure meticulously engineered to accommodate industrial and productive operations. Within its premises, it integrates machinery and equipment and, critically, the workforce that operates these resources. Consequently, the structural design demands precision and must be tailored to address operational requirements while ensuring stability and safety. This study elaborates on the design of an industrial warehouse that is characterized by the absence of lateral enclosures and is equipped with a 25-ton capacity overhead crane. The design adheres strictly to contemporary standards (NEC, 2015; AISC 360-16, 2016) and leverages the STAAD.Pro CONNECT software. Through this process, the cross-sectional dimensions of the structural components were meticulously determined. The findings
corroborate that the seismic-resistant design complies with all stipulated regulations, as the structural elements effectively withstand the ultimate load combinations, while deflections remain healthy within acceptable limits. Additionally, the structural period, cumulative mass participation percentage, base shear, drifts, and conformity with the strong column-weak beam criterion align with Ecuador’s legally binding national standards.
