Organizational climate of the staff of the Rural Teaching Institute

Abstract 
 
The behavior of an individual depends on several factors and one of the most important is the 
environment  in  which  they  operate,  as  well  as  how  it  relates  to  people  around  them,  which 
reveals that there must be a balance in healthy organizational climate, for achieving personal and 
organizational success. This article has theoretical and academic significance as a precedent in 
terms  of  the  treated  variable,  for  which  was  analyzed  at  the  Pedagogical  Institute  Rural  El 
Mácaro, specifically in Zulia University Extension. It aims to analyze the organizational climate 
of  the  staff  of  the  Pedagogical  Institute  Rural  El  Mácaro,  Zulia  University  Extension.  The 
research  was  descriptive,  not  experimental,  field,  with  cross-sectional  design.  The  population 
consisted  of  18  subjects  (10  teachers,  3  administratives  and  5  service  personnel),  which  was 
census. Technical survey questionnaire to the  type of  instrument, which was  applied to study 
informants was used for data collection. He underwent the same criterion validity by experts and 
reliability  coefficient  Cronbach's  alpha  resulting  0.8  which  is  highly  reliable  applied.  The 
technique  used  to  process  the  data  was  descriptive  statistics  by  frequency,  percentage  and 
measures of  central  tendencies.  It  was  concluded  that  the  tools  of organizational  climate  and 
motivation,  recognition,  identity,  tolerance  and  conflict  decision-making,  have  glaring 
weaknesses in their staff (administrative, teaching and service).

Introducción 
A nivel mundial, en las últimas décadas (1990-2010), se han venido experimentando cambios 
y  transformaciones  por  la  sociedad,  en  forma  vertiginosa  y  rápida,  producto  de  los  avances 
científicos  y  los  adelantos  tecnológicos,  lo  que  ha  precipitado  aún  más  el  proceso  de 
globalización,  que  conduce  a  la  humanidad  hacia  nuevos  enfoques  estructurales  y  demandas 
sociales,  políticas  y  económicas,  que  acarrean  entre  otros,  la  relativa  durabilidad  del 
conocimiento,  la  obsolescencia  en  los  avances  científicos-tecnológicos,  así como  la  acelerada 
difusión de la información; son algunos de los factores que caracterizan el entorno en el cual se 
desenvuelve el comportamiento humano en la actualidad. 
De esta realidad no se escapan las Instituciones Educativas Universitarias (IEU) donde en las 
primeras décadas del siglo XXI, el sistema educativo universitario en el mundo, se ha venido 
enfrentado  a  tres  grandes  transformaciones:  a)  la  revolución  científico-tecnológica,  b)  la 
internacionalización del conocimiento y la cultura  y c) la  globalización, fenómenos que  están
